Microneedling

Nurse-led treatment for skin texture, scarring and tone in Finchampstead, Berkshire.

Introduction

About Microneedling

What it is and how it works.

Ageing, sun damage and past acne can leave skin with fine lines, enlarged-looking pores, scarring and uneven texture.

At Tanton Brown Skin Clinic, Isabel, an NMC-registered Independent Nurse Prescriber, offers medical microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy. Her approach aims to improve skin texture and tone using your skin’s own healing response.

How it works

A precision device with fine, sterile needles creates controlled micro-channels in the skin. As the skin repairs, it produces new collagen and elastin, and results build over a course of treatments.

Benefits include

  • Softens the look of fine lines and acne scarring
  • Helps refine pores and smooth uneven texture
  • Helps skin tone look more even
  • Uses your skin’s own healing response, with minimal downtime

What are exosomes?

At Tanton Brown Skin Clinic, microneedling can be combined with exosomes, regenerative serums containing growth factors, peptides and antioxidants. Exosomes are applied to the skin during treatment. Isabel will advise at your consultation whether they are right for your skin.

For smoother texture, a more even tone and a fresher complexion, using your skin's own healing response.
